In our latest activity at Baraza Media Lab's Africa Media Festival, Black Albinism joined a powerful discussion on how podcasting can drive social inclusion, visibility, and advocacy for people with albinism. Alan Herbert, Tracy Ochieng, Faith Musyoki, and Sharon Ireri led conversations on using digital platforms to challenge stereotypes, fight stigma, and amplify authentic voices.“How do we create a supportive ecosystem for authentic voices?” Alan Herbert posed this critical question, sparking discussions on representation, digital literacy, and inclusive media spaces.By equipping individuals with albinism with storytelling tools, this workshop reinforced podcasting as a platform for breaking barriers, shifting perceptions, and ensuring true inclusion. Because every voice deserves to be heard.
